Bean-to-cup coffee machines for offices
How to choose an office coffee machine by team size, water supply and drinks, and which Coffee Format models fit each case.

How many cups does an office drink?
As a rule of thumb, allow two coffees per person per day. A team of 20 drinks about 40 cups, a team of 50 about 100. Mornings and the time after lunch are the busiest, so speed matters too: machines with two pumps dispense coffee and milk at the same time.
Small offices: up to about 15 people
BLOOM has a 4 L water tank and a 1.2 L drip tray and is rated for up to 40 cups a day. Up to nine user profiles let each person save their own drink. SEED is the smaller version with a 2 L tank, suited to consulting rooms and very small teams. Both are tank-fed and only need a power socket.
Medium offices: 20–50 people
At 60–100 cups a day, refilling a tank several times becomes a chore, so a plumbed-in machine makes sense:
- BREAK: 10.1-inch touchscreen, three drink sizes, mains water and waste drainage.
- ATLAS: two pumps, two thermoblocks and a 1.2 kg bean hopper, plumbed in.
- FIT W4L: boiler plus thermoblock and a 1 kg hopper in a body around 28 cm wide.
- DUKE: specifications similar to BREAK, with a chrome front for client-facing areas.
Large offices and staff cafés
Above 100 cups a day, with a mix of preferences (plant-based milk, hot chocolate, tea), look at ZONE and GROW. With the SC12T fridge they serve two types of milk, and both have powder canisters and a hot water outlet. GROW has two grinders, so decaf can sit on the menu alongside the main coffee. Campuses and canteens serving up to 300 cups a day can consider DOUBLE.
What makes life easier in an office kitchen
- Automatic milk-system cleaning, started from the screen.
- Waste drainage, so nobody has to empty the drip tray.
- A large grounds bin: around 70 portions on BREAK and larger models.
- One person in charge of milk, beans and machine alerts. Even the best machine needs daily attention.
